Hero's Background Story
A robotic terror, the Clockwerk Goblin is one of the most deadly ambush heroes in the game. Enemies who aren't careful will soon find themselves trapped and shredded by this tiny mechanical Goblin. The Clockwerk Goblin is at his most dangerous when he is right on top of his target. Using Battery Assault, he repeatedly damages and stuns an adjacent foe, and with proper positioning his Power Cogs can trap a single enemy nest to him, pushing others away. This combo is quite lethal to fragile heroes. To aid in finding and getting next to enemies, the Clockwerk Goblin has Rocket Flare and Hookshot. Rocket Flare sends a missile to anywhere on the battlefield, causing some damage and giving the Clockwerk Goblin vision of the targeted area for several seconds. Hookshot fires a chain which latches onto enemy units, causing damage and a stun. However, the primary purpose of Hookshot is to pull the Clockwerk Goblin to the target, putting him in perfect position to unleash his deadly Battery Assault and Power Cog combo. Good awareness is the best counter to this deceptively small mecha-Goblin.



The by-product of Goblin technological weapon research during the old War, Rattletrap the Clockwerk Goblin was shut away into storage for countless decades until the Sentinel found and reactivated him. Combat-wise, this goblin's capabilities know few bounds; his body is stocked with a huge array of armaments that destroy targets both near and far with ease. His trademark wrench can even extend itself like a grappling hook, allowing him to pick off individual targets with pin-point accuracy.



Skill Description :

1.Battery Assault:
Discharges high-powered shrapnel from openings in Rattletrap's clockwork upon a random nearby target dealing minor magical damage and ministun every 0.7 seconds. Lasts 10.5 seconds.

Cooldown: 32/28/24/20 seconds
Duration:10.5 seconds
Effect: Deals 15/35/55/75 damage and ministuns
Total damage 225/525/825/1125

Note:
1.This skill remains active even rattletrap is disabled.
2.This skill cancels channeling of heroes and hence is good against channelers like rylai,enigma etc.
3.Ministun is good for chasing enemy.
                  

2.Power Cogs:

The Clockwerk Goblin ejects pieces of inner core to form a circular barrier around himself, trapping nearby units with him. These cogs require 3 attacks from an enemy to be destroyed before their expiration time. If an enemy unit with mana goes near an element from the outside it gets shocked for some HP and mana and is knocked back. An                                element powers down if it shocks a unit.

Notes
1. Damage type: magical
2. Cogs can shock invisible units.
3. Use this skill and first skill with your ulti and you can easily take one hero on your own and these cogs require 3 attacks from enemy to destroy and you can use these cogs to block your enemy in narrow lane or in trees to save your ally.
4.These cogs require one attack from you to destroy.

Fires a fast moving missile at a target area on the map, revealing the targeted area. Upon impact it damages enemy units at a 575 AoE explosion.

3. Reveals the map for 10 seconds and hence can be used before you are using your hook in any fog area so that you dont waste your ulti.
4. Can be used to kill fleeing enemies just require's little logic and luck and you wil definately kill them so i will say always try killing dont wait.
4.Hookshot:

Fires a grappling, piston-like attachment at a unit or location. It will latch on the first, non-neutral enemy target it encounters, pulling you to it. Any enemies whom you collide with while being reeled toward the target will take damage and will be stunned.

Why this item build??
According to my build Soul ring should get first to solve  mana problem than power treads followed by blademail as when you hookshot and powercog the hero will only attack you so blademail will be a good option to deal damage.Getting vanguard is good for hp regeneration and block damage also,Get Hood of defiance if there are lots of spellcasters.Getting heart or radiance,according to me getting heart is better than radiance as it give you damage with hp after heart you can get Radiance.

Why this skill build??
According to me rocket flare is taken first to know where the enemy team is heading choosing which lane which heroes so that you can arrange your lanes with that information.It can also be used for first blood attempt if the enemy hero is trying to escape at low hp you just need to target correctly and th e kill is yours.After that battery assault is taken as it provide you with a ministun and decent damage per second and can be used to kill enemy or harass enemy heroes.Power cog is taken at level 5 because it is not much of a use without hookshot so take it just before level 6 and you can combine this with your ulti can get kill easily

You had better try to take advantage of the daylight while you can since come nightfall, you will have a powerful and adept hunter on the prowl. Balanar's passive Hunter in the Night increases his movespeed and attackspeed at night making him a feared ganker and chaser. His Void spell damages the target and slows them to a crawl allowing Balanar and his allies to deal great amounts of damage when cast during nighttime. Crippling fear is a powerful weapon against spellcasters and fighters alike as it both silences and causes a large chance of missing on physical attacks for its duration. Balanar's ultimate "Darkness" allows him to instantly transform day into night (or prolong the night), providing for the fullest effect of his other spells. However, nobody fears the Nightstalker during the day.Dreadlord is vulnerable only in sunlight and at night noone can even touch dreadlord.


Background story:-

Beware, you who wander the night. Each step you take leads you deeper in the hideous reign of the horrible ruler of the dark. Balanar, elite dreadlord who brought the total darkness of the Nether into this world, haunts these regions. Your heart will pump harder, your legs will shake, and your mind will cloud as the presence of the stalker hunts you in the dark. There's no chance to fight, no way to run, and no place to hide - darkness is everywhere! You can pray, you can cry, but the darkness won't be stopped - until you die.



Skill Introduction:-
1.Void:-Creates a damaging void. If cast at night, slows the target for 4 seconds. If cast at day, slows the target for 2 seconds.

Note:-
1.Provides a good slow with low cooldown at night time balanar can easily get a kill with this skill so max this skill first with Darkness.
2.Can be used to harass enemy.
3.Slows attack speed by 35% and movement speed by 50%.
4.It also contains a ministun and hence can be used to cancel channeling and enemies teleport.
2.Crippling Fear:-In the night, the Night Stalker can cause intense fear in enemy units, causing them to miss attacks and be unable to cast spells. This has reduced effect during the day.

1.Can be used to silence disablers like lion rhasta and easily kill them or to silence and disable dps heroes like troll,void so that they miss on their attacks.

Why this item build??
I usually make urn of shadow first as balanar will get kills easily and will need to heal himself and cast debuff on fleeing enemies to get a kill.With Basher and Night balanar with Super fast attack speed can F*** the s**t out of the enemy.And get bkb if getting stunner silenced as if the team is having multiple stunners.Sange and Yasha is a very good item for the hero.Scepter provides unobstructed vision all the time.Get heart just in case you are bored :p.

Why this skill build?

Void is taken first to get a slow and to harass enemy or even last hit creeps.Hunter in the night is taken second so that you get full advantage of movement speed and attack speed when sunsets.At level 6 Darkness is taken so that you can gank heroes easily.Level 1 of crippling fear is also good to silence casters and to kill them without any problem.I hope you agree with my skill build still if you got any intresting alternate skill build or item build i will really like to post on my blog you can contact me on my email or post a comment.

Good Alies

As with all other heroes, the best allies of Balanar are the disablers such as 



or slowers such as 


Basically, any heroes that slow / disable / stun the enemies are good allies. For Balanar, allies are not such a big deal, as the Void -> Hit -> Void combo can often net you a kill.
4.3 Worst Enemies

What matter to Balanar is more often the enemies. Bad enemies are usually enemies that you will have trouble killing when 1v1 against them. Apart from the obvious disablers, i.e all heroes with stuns, voodoo and other whatnots, there are a few heroes that deserves special mention, as listed below:



This bad-ass deserves special mention as Balanar cannot kill him on a square 1v1 match, even during the early games. 2 voids does not get you anywhere with his life, and his Berserker's Call + Culling Blade combo is sure to give you a hard time, if not kill you. Don't go near this guy without an ally, even during night.

 and 

These 2 can give you a hard time killing them, due to their sheer amount of health.

I can't think of any other heroes that can give Balanar more of a hard time than Axe, save for a well farmed Faceless Void and Troll Warlord. But then again, these two need to be well farmed, thus, not a problem as you can pawn them many times during mid game.

KUNKKA

Daelin Proudmoore is a fearsome opponent in nearly any situation. His passive ability, Tidebringer, causes his sword to splash out massive damage over an area when he attacks, making him not only a constant threat in the lane, but a excellent damage dealer later in the game. Through the deadly combination of X Marks the Spot and Torrent, he can also pick off his fleeing enemies at will. He's not at a loss in large team clashes either; His ultimate summons the legendary ship S.S. CoCo, which empowers his allies with rum and crashes into enemies, causing massive devastation. This ruthless admiral leaves none alive, least not dry!


Of all the allies in the Sentinel's ranks, only one, is known by as many names and is feared in as many lands. Called Capt. CoCo by his mates, Jacksparrow by others, The Legendary Mariner by some, but only a select few know his real name and what it stands for. He can harness the powers of the depths to conjure torrential geysers that blast his enemies into the air. His elegant blade is sworn to the Seas and with each mighty swing it ebbs like the tides. Using a watery form of spacial magic, he can bring you back to your original destination. Using his unparalleled knowledge of the sea, Kunkka is able to summon a blast of water at a targeted area. After 2 seconds a fierce torrent of water erupts from the ground, the stream blasting enemies caught in the AoE into the sky, dealing damage and slowing movement speed by 30%.

Notes
1.Damage type: magic
2.The initial bubble effect is only visible to allies.
3.Units tossed in the air will be paused and still able to be attacked.
4.Part of the damage occurs right as the torrent erupts, the rest occurs over time as the units are in the air.
5.The unit is disabled for 1.53 seconds at all levels.
Tips:
1.Always try to use this skill when ur enemy cannot see you or they will move away because of the skill animation or try to confuse your enemy.
2.Use this skill with X mark so that you can easily use it.

Kunkka's legendary sword Tidebringer is infused with the very power of the sea. Akin to the ebb and flow, Tidebringer passively grants the hero increased damage and large AoE cleave for a single strike every once in awhile.

Notes
1. Cleaved damage is only reduced by armor type, not by armor value.
2. Cooldown is not activated on denies, so the damage bonus is maintained.



X Marks The Spot

Ability Type: Active

Ability Hotkey: X
In order to make an assembly for his troops, Admiral Proudmore targets a hero and marks its current position on the ground. After a few seconds, the hero will instantly return to the mark.

Duration:1/2/3/4 seconds
Casting range:500/650/800/950

Returns Target after 1 second/Returns Target after 2 seconds/Returns Target after 3 seconds/Returns Target after 4 seconds.
Notes
1.If target becomes magic immune after this spell has been cast, target will not return to the X after the duration ends.
2.Returning to the X interrupts channeling spells.
3.The X has 400 ground vision.
4.The -disablehelp command will prevent an allied Admiral from casting this spell on you.



X Marks The Spot Return

Returns the target to the X.

Note:This ability is very useful for catching blinking enemies like antimage,mortred,rikimaru etc.

Ghost Ship

Ability Type: Active
Targeting Type: Point
Ability Hotkey: T
The admiral summons the mythical ghost ship S.S. CoCo to the battlefield. Allies are doused in Captain CoCo's Rum, inebriating them for 10% bonus movespeed and numbness to incoming damage, causing them to feel only half of the pain now and half after the Rum wears off. Enemies, pirates and scurvy knaves are dashed on the rocks for damage and a brief stun when the ship crashes.

Mana cost:150/200/250
Cooldown:60/50/40
Effect:1.4 seconds stun, 350 crash damage, 10% MS bonus, half damage now half damage after skill wears off/1.4 seconds stun, 450 crash damage, 10% MS bonus, half damage now half damage after skill wears off/1.4 seconds stun, 550 crash damage, 10% MS bonus, half damage now half damage after skill wears off.

1.Damage type: magic
2.Actual AoE of ship's collision is larger than the boat itself.
3.The boat has a movement speed of 650.
4.Damage dealt after CoCo's rum wears off is non-lethal and can never kill a hero.
Tips:Very useful skill for initiating a battle with a torrent and to land a kill thats what makes admiral a captain with his ghost ship charging allies with movement speed and disabling enemies and makes admiral a gg hero.

Early Game:
Early game can be started with a tango,salve,magic stick and branches




Core Items:
1.Phase Boots or Power treads:
 
 Phase boots or power treads?
 I prefer phase boots more than power tread as the bonus movement speed is needed to chase enemy
 and damage given by phase boot is better than power treads so according to me you should get phase boots.

2.Battlefury:
 
Battlefury is the item that makes you insane because you already got a cleave damage skill and you are getting a battlefury means your enemies gonna take lots of damage even if you are hitting only one...

3.Urn Of shadow:

Urn solves your mana problem plus it provides you with charges if any hero dies in 1400 AOE and you can use these charges to heal 400 damage or deal 150 damage to escaping enemy.

4.Black King Bar:

Everyone here knows what this item does provides you with magical immunity so no spellcaster can stop you from killing them.

Luxuary Items
1.Heart of Tarrasque

Solves you hp problem and help you tanking well in team fights.

2.Burizza Do Kyanon

THE BEST THING ON ADMIRAL is this with Tidebringer + battlefury + your ulti and you strike first hit with your sword with a crit and the other moment you see that you got a triple kill it feels awesome really awesome better make this first than Heart.

Situational
1.Lothar's Edge(if getting ganked alot)

Makes you invisible until the duration ends, or until you attack or use an ability
 While invisible you move 20% faster and can move through units
 Has a 0.3 second fade time
 Attacking to break the invisibility will cause you to deal 150 bonus physical damage on your attack
 Lasts 12 seconds, costs 75 mana, and has an 18 second cd.

Good Allies



As mentioned earlier, Crystal Maiden is Kunkka's best ally. She helps set up kills with frostbite, has a great aoe slow, solves you and your team's early mana problems, and has an ultimate that, combined with yours, is a thing to be scared of. She's also a natural support hero and a babysitter, allowing Kunkka to get much needed farm.




The new Magnus is a perfect teammate for Kunkka. He, again, deserves a special mention because he can drag the whole enemy team together, setting up a perfect Torrent and Ghost Ship. Secondly, he can buff you 45% more damage and 45% more splash, which is incredibly strong on Kunkka. If played correctly, Magnus can boost Kunkka's potential by a whole lot.




Dark Seer is another obvious hero that synergizes perfectly with Kunkka, but only with good coordination. A well timed Vacuum and Torrent could set up a deadly combo (Ex. Magnus' + Nevermore's Ultimates). Surge is good for Kunkka since he often needs to chase, and more AOE from Ion Shell is always welcomed.




Vengeful Spirit is often paired with Kunkka in a dual lane due to VS being a support hero, an excellent babysitter, and a hero with a targetable stun, allowing Kunkka to hit Torrents very easily. Also, Kunkka will be able to farm quite well with VS's babysitting, making this a very potent lane.




Sand King has a ranged AOE stun that can set up your torrent very well. Imagine a Burrowstrike + Torrent + Ghost Ship + Epicentre. Excellent ally from Level 1 to 25.




Lion is another babysitter, and he has two target-able disables and, making your Torrent a lot easier to hit. He can also harass the enemies well, allowing you to last hit and control the lane much better.



Basically any hero with an AOE skill, a stun, or a initiating/positioning skill.


Your Enemies



Silencer messes up everyone's combo, and you're no exception. A Kunkka using only Ghost Ship or only Torrent just isn't as effective. Try to stay away from him when you cast your spells so you won't get silenced. Silencer also has amazing lane control, so if you face him in a lane, you won't be getting much farm, even with a babysitter.

How to counter: In the lane, try to force the kill as soon as possible with a ranged stunner, because if you don't, he will constantly keep you at 0 Mana, and keep draining your HP.
In team fights, you should obviously try to stay back and not get silenced by Last Word. Also, you don't get silenced by Last Word from using items, so cast your Ghost Ship, get silenced, but follow up with Lothars and attack. Then use your X and Torrent to catch the fleeing heroes. This way, you can still initiate effectively without being bothered by silences.




Now the main problem with NA is actually not his burst nuking combo. If you are unlucky enough to be his laning opponent, he will constantly keep you at very low mana. Although you have Tidebringer to fend him off early game, he will still come back later on, and unless you are constantly holding your torrent hotkey, waiting for him to appear, you will suffer.

How to counter: Harass as much as you can with Tidebringer, and don't try to force a kill, since you will be low on mana. After the laning phase, stick with your teammates more and ask for better warding so you don't get picked off. In the late game, he won't be much more than a pesky fly.




I feel kind of silly putting SA as the on this list, but he really does make you useless, even if you have dust/wards. Even if you get out of smoke screen, and you cast torrent, he will simply blink away or blink to you. Using X Marks the Spot on him is a pain too, because if you turn around to cast it when he's invisible, he's gonna be right behind you, dealing massive damage. A very annoying hero, so you'll need good teamwork to rid of him.

How to counter: Stay with your team, ask for more wards and buy dusts, or ask for the support hero for dust. As soon as he pops out, cast X Marks the Spot as soon as you get out of Smoke Screen, then use dust. Since hes such a fragile hero, he'll be dead in seconds.




If you decide to solo mid and you see a Medusa, you have the right to be afraid. Medusa has incredible lane control over you, and your Tidebringer will seem to do no damage at all. She also never runs out of mana, while yours just goes lower and lower, along with your health. Chasing her is difficult as well because of Stone Gaze. Simply an ugly (and I mean ugly) hero to have on the other team.

How to counter: You can't really "counter" a Medusa with Kunkka. However, you can ask for constant ganks and try to force as many early kills as you can before she gets her Linken's or any soursce of damage.




Again, a very unique hero to put in this section, but Kotl's Mana Leak can really mess you up if you make a wrong move. Since you are Mana dependent in team fights, you cannot afford to lose any mana, but you cannot afford to stand there while a battle is happening. Fortunately, Mana Leak doesn't have a huge casting range, so you probably won't get hit by it.

How to counter: Stay back in team fights to avoid Mana Leak. Other than Mana Leak, Kotl is no threat and a very fragile hero, so if you find him isolated and out of position, cast X Marks the Spot on him right away and pick him off.




Pugna's ward can be really annoying if he places it in an effective spot. The mana shock you get when you cast a spell hurts, and you will be casting all your spells. Unfortunately, the mana degeneration hurts even more, as it might encourage you to rush your combo.

How to counter: Communicate with your team to fight away from where the Nether Ward is. Try to be patient and don't rush your Ghost Ship. If you're chasing him and he casts Decripify on you or himself, you can still cast X Marks the Spot, then wait for Decripify to run out. This is also another example of why you might want to max out X Marks the Spot: because it lasts longer, so you can chase more easily.




Of course, Doom has to be mentioned because he is the "universal" counter to virtually all 97 heroes in the game. Not much more to say here.

How to counter: Don't get doomed; you can't even use items in them... But seriously, try to position yourself better than him, so you chain disable him before he can even do anything.




If you're alone, Bloodseeker will leave you with no choice but to give him the kill. His rupture and silence just totally counters any hero if they are alone. The only way to survive would be to outlevel/outfarm him, or to have teammates come help.

How to counter: Again, you will need good, constant warding. Also, keep your eye on your HP when farming, because the AOE of Bloodseeker's Thirst is a lot larger than you think. If he chases you, casting Rupture and Bloodrage on you, fight him!Without any top tier items, Bloodseeker is an underwhelmingly weak hero, so pop your Magic Wand, and with the extra damage from Bloodrage and Tidebringer, you will be doing massive amounts of damage to him, turning the tides of the battle.




If N'aix goes for you, all you can do is activate Phase Boots and run. There is simply nothing else you can do for 5 seconds. He will eat you, open your wounds, and he is immune to your violent splashes of water. Just hope that you can survive long enough if he comes after you when you're alone.

How to counter: Lothars is the safest way to go. Also, if you feel that you have enough HP remaining, TP out as soon as you see him raging and opening your wounds. He has no stuns, so if you can tank him for a few seconds, you can easily get away.





Basically heroes who like to pick on enemies who have no quick escape mechanism, or heroes who are just plain good against any hero. You will need to rely on your team to save you from them.
